Located in the historic Staré Mesto district of Bratislava, Bloom Bakery is a popular local network of bakeries with its own production, situated on Dunajská Street. The streets around it are lively, filled with cafés, restaurants, bars, and small shops, where history blends seamlessly with the rhythm of modern city life.

The bakery is located in a neighborhood known for its rich architectural heritage, which made the main design challenge the organic integration of contemporary design and technology within the historic context.

Inside, the existing blue doors and windows were preserved, while the use of granite from the façade continues into the interior.

The floor is finished with natural granite, complemented by green marble — used for a large communal table at the heart of the space, as well as details such as the service counter and door handles.

The technical equipment is fully concealed, keeping the space clean and allowing its details and character to take center stage.

A metal spatial structure organizes the product display and sales area.

The open, technological kitchen allows visitors to watch the baking process. Stainless steel and aluminum are actively used throughout the interior, bringing the technical nature of the process into the dining area.

The bar area is divided into several sections: bakery and pastry displays, as well as a small shop offering beverages, natural wine, and ice cream.

All tables are custom-made from wood and stone according to the studio’s design, accompanied by semi-bar wooden chairs.
